Alpenite entered a formal partnership with Jahia, the leading Open Source Web Content Management platform.
Alpenite is specialized in the implementation of Jahia corporate portals with ERP integration for lean end-to-end business processes execution.
Alpenite decided to formalize its Jahia implementation skills becoming a Jahia authorized partner.

Adobe mobility roadmap
Although the announcements from Adobe were really confusing, its roadmap for mobility is pretty clear. Adobe is making three big contributions to the Apache Software Foundation: PhoneGap, BlazeDS and Flex SDK. This does not mean that Adobe will stop contributing to these technologies, but that a much wider developer base will be involved. Flex and HTML5 based development are not competing technologies, but rather convergent (Falcon JS compiles Flex into HTML5). Alpenite will continue its investment in Flex, BlazeDS and PhoneGap technologies.

Mobility with Adobe Flex and SAP applications
Alpenite has a recognized expertise in the development of field applications for sales and service scenarios. The technologies of choice are Adobe Flex with SAP ERP or SAP CRM backends. Alpenite has developed a custom connector for Adobe Flex/SAP, but soon a standard connector by Adobe/SAP will be available.
Alpenite is actively participating in the pre-release program of the Adobe Flex/SAP connector (Flex 4.6 SDK, Flash Builder 4.6 and Flash Builder Plugin for SAP NetWeaver Gateway Services).

Social commerce as a service
Alpenite has developed a unique social commerce platform based on:
- Magento as the e-commerce engine;
- Facebook as the social plaftorm;
- Services for integration with on premise ERP applications (ready to use SAP ERP/CRM connector).
The platform can be used on-premise or as a service (hosted on the alpencloud). The offered business model allows to outsource the full e-commerce process as a service (up to invoicing, payments and logistics).

Alpenite consolidated its software as a service (SaaS) offering with the new name of “alpencloud”. The alpencloud is available as a pay per use service hosted on a private cloud that includes the following software: social commerce, e-commerce, document/digital asset management and crm.

SAP Business Suite Innovations 2010 ramp-up
Alpenite is actively participating in ramp-up projects involving the following SAP products (ramp-ups are early innovation adoption programs):
- SAP CRM 7.0 EhP1
- SAP ERP 6.0 EhP5
- SAP PLM 7.0 EhP120
- SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EhP2
These products will be released to the general public in the second half of 2011.
