IT training manager

We search for a Training Manager for one of our key customers.

Main tasks

  • training management – overall coordination of all IT training and know-how transfer related activities for major IT projects
  • assess and plan training needs for new IT projects
  • develop overall annual and monthly training program derived from various key IT projects
  • plan and organize all training events and provide according capacity plan
  • manage training delivery to projects
  • manage all related training resources (internal and external)
  • coordinate/maintain content data base (training content packages, e-learning applications)
  • manage external service providers for e-training solution development
  • interface to and alignment with internal functions, such as HR, Sourcing and IT Controlling


Staffing management

  • support of the staffing and set up of two competency centers


Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in IT or training development for IT
  • excellent presentation and teaching skills
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • strong time and self-management skills
  • working knowledge of SAP processes and terminology
  • working knowledge of Microsoft platform skills
  • ability to gather training requirements from IT project work streams
  • ability to manage business relationships
  • willingness to learn in a fast-paced business environment
  • bachelor’s degree in computer science, education science in IT related fields, or equivalent experience
  • some travel required
  • languages – fluent in spoken and written English; German advantageous
