

On 23 June 2022, we attended the Adobe Experience Maker Awards Virtual Gala, where prizes were presented for the most daring customer experience projects of the year, developed with Adobe solutions.
The winner of The Experience Maker of the Year category in the EMEA region was Laura Pezzotta, Head of the Personalization Unit at Barilla Group, who enlisted Alpenite’s support in developing the award-winning project “Dedicato a Te”, Barilla’s first direct-to-consumer commerce personalisation project and the first personalised e-commerce experience in Italy.
We’re proud to share this major recognition with Barilla. The project is an example of hyper-personalisation in the global food and beverage sector that has enabled Barilla to develop direct-to-consumer e-commerce using Adobe Commerce technology, allowing consumers to purchase customised products thanks to an enhanced browsing experience with real-time 3D rendering.
The figures speak for themselves. Under Laura Pezzotta’s leadership, “Dedicato a te” has brought in almost 40,000 new customers, with sales of over 100,000 products. Surveys show that customers largely approve of the experience and 96% of them would make another purchase, while 94% would recommend the product or service to others.
Thanks to her extensive expertise in designing memorable customer experiences, Laura Pezzotta put her unique signature on “Dedicato a te” and this was acknowledged at the Virtual Gala awards ceremony: “Thanks to her solid background, Laura was able to manage her team in an excellent fashion and with experience, being a key figure in every decision, from delivery issues to strategy selection, guided by a clear long-term vision.”
