
The first of its kind in the industry, Akeneo’s annual award recognises brands that excel in Product Experience Management (PXM) to drive significant growth, deliver exceptional product experiences and adapt to the changing omnichannel retail environment.
Receiving an award at the PXM Champions Awards 2023, held on 8 and 9 March at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, is a truly great accolade: it means having succeeded in implementing a successful project that impacts people, processes and technology, supporting the company in developing and improving the experience it offers its customers.
Among the five categories in the competition, the Global Award went to Fendi for the project that saw the introduction of the Akeneo solution for the management of new product information and digital asset management processes, implementing the guidelines and reference application identified by the LVMH group. This has made it possible to manage and organise as many as 125,000 e-commerce and marketplace-related products worldwide, starting with the 2018 collections, following a collection by region and sales differentiation by area and market.

During the roundtable on the last day, the winners of the PXM Awards were invited to talk about the results they had achieved in relation to product experience and the best practices that made it possible to elevate the omnichannel experience and make processes even more efficient. “We are thrilled with this award. Through the collaboration with Alpenite and the supervision of LVMH, we successfully found the winning strategy that could improve overall workflows. The shortlist for the Expansion Award category also included another successful case developed by Alpenite: Autotorino – mentioned for the Akeneo PIM Enterprise Edition for the “Digital Ecosystem” project.
